Kronenburgh is also recognised as a quality member of NRTO: The Dutch organisation for private education.
Quality assurance of Dutch Inspectorate of Education
Founded in 1801, the Netherlands’ Inspectorate of Education is one of the oldest state Inspectorates of Education. “What is being done right? What could be done better? And what needs to be done better?” The 2017 Inspection Frameworks (the assessment framework) describes the way of working and what factors will be assessed: (i) educational process, (ii) school climate,(iii) learning outcomes, (iv) quality assurance and ambition and (v) financial management. The NRTO is the trade association for privately funded trainers. The NRTO is a natural discussion partner for politicians, ministries, educational parties, social organizations and the media.
Quality and professionalism in the training market deserve a quality mark. A provider with the NRTO quality mark meets high quality requirements and has been tested for this by an external certification body. Code of Conduct Incoming Mobility VET level 4
Kronenburgh subscribes to the ‘code of conduct for EQF level 4‘ and is committed to good education and guarantees the quality of the information provision and education to international students. By signing the educational institution is obliged to comply with the obligations set out in the Code of Conduct and promises to act in the spirit of the Code.
Nuffic to compare UK and NL Diploma’s
Nuffic is the European organisation that compares the education systems in the different European Country’s. Although Brexit, this comparison is still up to date. See more informationa about NUFFIC. The BTEC system is internationally recognised by NUFFIC.
Nuffic developped the EQF: the European Qualification Framework.
After primary school and secondary school in the UK there is further education: BTEC3. In the Netherlands there is MBO (middelbaar beroepsonderwijs).
UK system BTEC International Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business is comparable with NL system MBO4.
After further education in the UK there is university education BTEC 4-5 and BSc (HONS). In The Netherlands there is HBO (Hoger Beroepsonderwijs / Universitair onderwijs).
UK system BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Business is comparable with NL system HBO year 1 and 2;
UK system BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Business is comparable with NL system HBO year 3.
UK system Bachelor of Science Bsc is comparable with NL system HBO or University Bachelor of Science.
